2024 Prascher Dasher - Kids' Fun Run

The Brush Rotary Club and the Brush Chamber of Commerce are hosting the 2024 Prascher Dasher Oktoberfest 5K run/walk in honor and memory of Ron Prascher, a long-time Rotarian and Brush Chamber Executive Director, on October 5th, 2024. The Kids' 1-mile Fun Run is for ages 12 years and under and starts at 9:00 AM at Petteys Park. The entry fee is $10.

All proceeds benefit the Rotary Foundation in their efforts to eradicate polio and to provide scholarships and youth leadership opportunities for students at Brush Middle School and Brush High School.

After the race, we'll convene at the West Shelter at Petteys Park for music, door prizes, and awards. We will award a medal to the top finishers in each age  category and ribbons to the second- and third-place finishers in each age category. Top overall finishers will receive a plaque. All participants receive a T-shirt. To celebrate Oktoberfest, we're giving a large soft pretzel to each participant, plus a German beer to those aged 21 and older. We're also giving a free Oktoberfest pint glass to the the five participants with the best Oktoberfest-themed costumes.
